Frequently asked questions

Are you organic?

We are not certified organic. However, we use sprays as sparingly as possible.

Are you open on the 4th of July?

Yes! Come and fill your buckets! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Why do you only offer half-day hours?

The best picking is earlier in the day when the summer temperatures are not overbearing.

Furthermore, as a family-run farm, we do our best to stay within our capabilities. We greatly appreciate our community and their understanding of our limited hours.

Can I bring my dog?

While we love dogs and other various pets, they are NOT permitted in our fields.

What forms of payment do you use?

We accept cash or check ONLY

Do you spray your berries?

We use sprays as sparingly as possible. We spray a fungicide during bloom to prevent mummy berry. Then, after the berries form, the only reason we would spray is if we find fruit fly larvae in the berries toward the end of the season. (We haven't had to do that in years.)

Do you provide buckets for picking?

We do have picking buckets for guests, but we encourage people to bring their own containers. This makes it easier for you to take your berries home. (Note: When you arrive, get your container weighed before picking.)

Can I bring my own container?

Sure! We encourage you to bring your own containers. However, we have picking buckets if needed.

What blueberry varieties do you have?

We have three varieties. Earliblues (sweetest), Dukes (crisp & sweet), AND Bluecrop (balanced classic blueberry).

Earliblues and Dukes are ready at the beginning of the u-pick season, and Bluecrops are usually a couple of weeks later. (You can keep an eye on our fb page to see what varieties are available the day you plan to visit.)

Do you take the container weight off the final sale price?

Yes! When you arrive, come over to the counter and get your container weighed. We will subtract the bucket weight when you check out.

Will you be open if it rains?

It's Oregon, yes, we will be open.  πŸ˜€
